We are looking forward to seeing you all. <strong>We still have a handful of spots left, so if you have any friends or colleagues that are interested in joining, please encourage them \u2013 now is the time! <\/strong>We are also offering a limited number of half share options (pick up every 2 weeks).<a href=\"http:\/\/www.orchardhillfarm.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/IMG_3526-e1463401193411.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-2715\" src=\"http:\/\/www.orchardhillfarm.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/IMG_3526-e1463401193411-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_3526\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.orchardhillfarm.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/IMG_3526-e1463401193411-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/www.orchardhillfarm.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/IMG_3526-e1463401193411-768x1024.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.orchardhillfarm.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/IMG_3526-e1463401193411-668x891.jpg 668w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>If you\u2019re new, this is how it works:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You can come on your pick up day (Tuesday or Saturday) any time 11am-7pm<\/li>\n<li>Cross off your name on the list of members<\/li>\n<li>Pack up your share (bring your own bags\/basket\/box)<\/li>\n<li>If you can\u2019t make it, please let us know and we can put aside your share in the white cooler \u2013 it will be in a box with your name on it to pick up the next day.<\/li>\n<li>Remember \u2013 there will be more and more produce as the season progresses!<\/li>\n<li>Bring some cash if you\u2019d like to buy eggs ($6\/doz)<\/li>\n<li>If you have a working share, there will be a calendar to sign up for dates to come out to the farm \u2013 they are usually 2.5 hour blocks of time, so you will sign up for 2 different days for the season.<\/li>\n<li>If you haven\u2019t paid, please bring payment (in full or post-dated checks) with you to the first pick-up.<\/li>\n<li>Caesar (a slightly tubby Golden Retriever) may greet you with a tail wag or a bark &#8211; he\u2019s very friendly. Don\u2019t leave out any tasty treats (i.e. bread) for him, though, because he\u2019ll take advantage!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For our first pick-up, we are anticipating salad greens, pok choi, spinach, rhubarb, asparagus, and herbs. Seth will be sending an email about bread for this year shortly.<\/p>\n<p>The Spring Fair was a wonderful experiment \u2013 if you attended, thanks for coming and please let us know your ideas for how to do it better next year, or what to keep! Maybe an industrial-sized popcorn maker next year ;). It was a beautiful day.<\/p>\n<p>We have been busy planting (and planting and planting), assembling hoophouses and organizing our pastures.
