To the right we have a picture of Intern Anna <span class=\"blsp-spelling-error\" id=\"SPELLING_ERROR_0\">McFaul<\/span> and <span class=\"blsp-spelling-error\" id=\"SPELLING_ERROR_1\">CSA<\/span> member Brian <span class=\"blsp-spelling-error\" id=\"SPELLING_ERROR_2\">Minns<\/span> washing spinach. Yesterday as I was speaking with another <span class=\"blsp-spelling-error\" id=\"SPELLING_ERROR_3\">CSA<\/span> Member I was reminded of a recipe she shared with me last season to use cabbage! I went digging in my recipe box and was happy to <span class=\"blsp-spelling-corrected\" id=\"SPELLING_ERROR_4\">actually<\/span> find it there. We had it for supper last night and it was enjoyed by all. <\/div>\n<div> <\/div>\n<div><strong>Cabbage and Red Lentils <\/strong><\/div>\n<div><strong><br \/><\/strong>(Serves 4 people)<\/p>\n<p>1 \u00bc cup red lentils<br \/>1 \u00bd tsp. turmeric<br \/>4 cups water<br \/>2 tbsp. vegetable oil<\/p>\n<p>Mix together above ingredients and simmer until soft.<\/p>\n<p>Heat 5 tbsp. vegetable oil in frying pan.<br \/>Add:<br \/>2 tsp. cumin<br \/>Fry for 1 minute<br \/>Add:<br \/>2-4 cloves garlic<br \/>Fry until brown<br \/>Add:<br \/>1 chopped onion<br \/>Add:<br \/>2 cups packed, finely grated cabbage<br \/>Fry until crisp<\/p>\n<p>Mix cabbage mixture with lentils<\/p>\n<p>Add:<br \/>Salt and green chili peppers to taste.<br \/>Cook together for 10 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>Serve over rice. <\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We appreciate the help of our Working Shares each week as we harvest and wash produce!
